NBA 2K13 Roster Analysis 3/23/13

It's the same old story this week as 2K Sports once again releases an injury update roster with few other changes.

Player Edits: 0
Missing Players: 15
Missing Coaches: 1
Players on Wrong Teams: 2
Incorrect Lineups: 4

Travis Leslie (63/SG) - contract was not renewed on 3/20.

Shelvin Mack (65/PG) - signed with Hawks on 3/6.  This was 17 days ago.  You have got to be joking.

Jannero Pargo (64/PG) Bobcats (from Free Agents)
Chris Quinn (56/PG) Cavaliers (from Free Agents)
DaJuan Summers (60/SF) Clippers (from Free Agents)
Louis Amundson (65/PF) Hornets (from Bulls)
Raja Bell (71/SG) Free Agents (from Jazz)
Trey Thompkins (63/PF) Free Agents (from Clippers)

Not a single player in the NBA improved or regressed at their craft in the past week (apparently).  2K has edited a grand total of 12 players over the past 30 days, which marks their laziest stretch of the season.

Kevin Jones (PF) - Cavaliers (21 games, 9.0 mpg)
*Shavlik Randolph (PF) - Celtics (3 games, 12.0 mpg, played 95 games prior to 2013)
Jarvis Varnado (PF) - Heat (10 games, 3.7 mpg)
Terrel Harris (SG) - Hornets (12 games, 8.6 mpg, played 22 games prior to 2013)
Kevin Murphy (SG) - Jazz (15 games, 3.2 mpg)
Chris Wright (PG) - Mavericks (3 games, 1.3 mpg)
Julyan Stone (PG/SG) - Nuggets (2 games, 5.5 mpg, played 22 games prior to 2013)
Ben Hansbrough (PG/SG) - Pacers (25 games, 6.8 mpg)
Tim Ohlbrecht (C) Rockets (1 game, 6.0 mpg)
Aron Baynes (C) - Spurs (11 games, 6.6 mpg)

*Mickael Gelabale (SF) Timberwolves (29 games, 21.4 mpg, played 109 games prior to 2013)
Chris Johnson (C/PF) - Timberwolves (22 games, 11.5 mpg, played 41 games prior to 2013)
Kent Bazemore (SG/SF) - Warriors (50 games, 4.5 mpg)
Malcolm Thomas (PF/SF) - Bulls (5 games, 4.2 mpg, played 3 games prior to 2013)

*Denotes previously in an NBA 2K game (which means 2K Sports already has files for these players).

Terrel Harris, Chris Wright, and Malcolm Thomas all signed 10-day contracts last week.  There isn't a chance in hell any of them get added to the game since we've been waiting TWO MONTHS now for Gelabale and Chris Johnson who actually play.

As usual, this is the only area of the rosters that 2K seems to care about (even though most fans loathe it).

Given that I did not write an article for last week's roster that was solely an injury update, this includes changes from both rosters.

Ersan Ilyasova (75/PF) Bucks
Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (69/SF) Bucks
Dion Waiters (77/SG) Cavaliers

Mickael Pietrus (72/SF) Raptors

Red denotes player cannot play through injury.
