Coach Profiles

BIGGEST MOVERS
Allen Iverson has been the scoring machine Iverson of old. While he is still an effective player (and should function more as a prototypical point on a fastbreaking Philadelphia), he doesn't really look the part of an all-star guard anymore.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trevor Ariza started the season strong, but he is now shooting a dismal 38% from the field (his league leading 148 threes attempted being a primary culprit). He is also crashing the boards significantly less at the SG position, which is surely taking away from the easy baskets he'd have in past seasons.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kendrick Perkins has quietly had a very excellent season. He currently leads the league in both True Shooting Percentage (TS%) and Effective Field Goal Percentage (eFG%). Ray Allen may very well be the least important starter in Boston.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rodney Stuckey has functioned well as a SG in Detroit. It remains to be seen if he can keep his effective play up with Rip Hamilton returning from his deep ankle sprain.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As covered in my 2K10 Laker post, Lamar Odom has been awful this season. He either doesn't mesh well with Artest, is distracted by off-court issues, or isn't playing hard now that he has his contract (or a combination of the three).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darren Collison has emerged as a quality backup to Chris Paul, averaging 9 points and 4 assists in only 21 minutes off the bench. By comparison, highly regarded Nuggets rookie backup Ty Lawson, is averaging 8 points and 3 assists in 20 minutes of action.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jonas Jerebko has played well in the absence of Tayshaun Prince. He has done all the little things you expect out of a role player, and reminds me of a young Jared Jeffries... hopefully he improves a wee bit more than Jeffries ever did.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roko Ukic stole Charlie Bell's rotation spot with a couple nice games this week, though it probably doesn't matter much with Michael Redd returning.

Jerryd Bayless has improved vastly this season, including tonight, in which he scored 29 points on 15 shots, leading the Blazers to a comeback victory over the Suns. Though he hasn't played much, I think it is worth noting that he has a PER of 18.3 (only third behind Oden and Roy on the team), and is shooting .515%. I think he is finally coming into his own, and may be due for a ratings boost.
Are you sure this is the right file Rashidi? I just downloaded it and Iverson's still rated 80 OVR.
Oh yeah, I did some edits between the upload and the writeup. So Iverson will be 77 in the next update, barring any further changes.
And yeah I'll take a look at Bayless before the next upload.
Thanks. Looking forward to the next update. Another guy that would be worth checking out is Craig Smith. He is a very underrated reserve big man, who I think is probably rated about 5 points too low.
When is the next update due? I'm about to start an association, but I want to keep up-to-date.
I will release the next update after the games tonight. There are no games on Thursday, and everyone will be off from school, so it will be the best time.
Should get Reke higher he's killing out there
Considered editing defensive attributes on players? In association mode, steals and blocks are HUGELY inflated for many players.
I definitely would like to see some more extensive editing done for Taj Gibson, at least with his mid range J. I think it's like, high 40's right now and that's just.. not right.
Also, I think Rose should get a boost in off. clutch, considering the 4th quarters he's been putting together. A small boost, obviously, but still. Same with his def. clutch... we saw it last year with him in the playoffs and a little bit this year.
