Outlook: One of the top players in the game, and won his first Finals MVP. Above average in every facet of the game for a SG. Athleticism is on a slow decline, but he makes up for it with ever improving post skills. With the talent currently around him, there's no reason he shouldn't win additional championships. Could still stand to get his teammates more involved on the offensive end (GASOL).

Outlook: Basically a second center at the PF position (though he's actually played more center over the last two years due to Bynum's injuries). A great post player whose incredible efficiency tells us he's actually underutilized in LA. A perfect compliment to Kobe, however.

Outlook: Literally does everything. Can score inside or outside, in the post or off the dribble, defends multiple positions, handles and passes like a guard, and rebounds like a 6'10" power forward should. Even gave up his starting role in a contract year.

Outlook: One of the best defensive players in the league, capable of guarding most SGs or PFs if necessary. He isn't quite the scorer he thinks he is, and one has to hope that he won't have any shot selection concerns in LA (this is really the only thing that could derail them at this point).

Outlook: An emerging post player despite being only 22 years old. Would have easily been the #1 pick this season had he gone to college for 4 years (assuming of course that he didn't suffer any injuries in college). Should continue to improve, and it wouldn't be shocking if he took the mantle from Kobe in 5 years.

Outlook: Great shooter, but his days as a starter are hopefully coming to a close. His defense is also slipping. He's definitely the weak link in the starting lineup on both ends, though still capable of making a contribution when necessary.

Outlook: Many expected Farmar to take the step that would see him starting over Fisher this season. Instead, he regressed and lost playing time to a player who was nearly out of the league last summer (Shannnon Brown). It'd be in his best interests to show he's more than just a backup, seeing as how this is his contract year.

Outlook: Walton is an average player across the board, which makes him a serviceable backup. He's probably due to lose a lot of playing time with Ron Artest on board, and since he doesn't exactly have the most movable contract, he's likely riding the pine for awhile.

Outlook: Brown worked his way into the rotation late in the year when Jordan Farmar was struggling. He rates a 76 as a SG, which is a more natural position for him (he's able to play PG in the Triangle since a true point isn't necessary). As a PG, he should draw some comparisons to Ron Harper on the mid-90s Bulls. A solid defensive player, slasher by nature, and a so-so outside shooter. It wouldn't be surprising to see him start if Fisher continues to decline. The Lakers must think he can do it if they'd give him 2 million a year in an economy where Allen Iverson can't even get a team to pay him that much.

Outlook: Former #3 pick in the Brandon Roy draft is looking like a major bust so far, though his injury has surely played a part in that. He's the same age as Sasha, has a similar build, and is surely just as good a shooter, but just isn't nearly the defensive player Sasha is.
