4.0 Reboot + Progress

2k Sports finally finished adding all the missing players (aside from Rob Kurz) so I'm starting from scratch for the final time. Here's the latest progress.

If it may please the court, I'm so sick of tweeners being added to the 2k Series and as a result inflate statistics that make them good. Yao Min should have a rating of 60

good work...
but
are u in some kind of way related to ike diogu? cause otherwise i just dont know how he deserves a 76.

Diogu has always put up very good numbers when he's played. His career problems go like this.

1. "Non-three point shooting post up player" for two season under Don Nelson. (Except much better than Patrick O'Bryant when given chances).

2. Injury at start of 3rd season to take himself out of the rotation of ANOTHER three ball lineup (this time Indiana).

3. Now in a system that appreciates his post skills, but stuck behind Greg Oden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Joel Przybilla, and Channing Frye on the depth chart.

You see how Leon Powe has excelled in Boston? That's exactly what Diogu is capable of offensively - and he's easily a better rebounder/shotblocker than Powe to boot.

I've spent a lot of time trying to lower Diogu from where he's at but at the moment there isn't much reason to do so. He has played like 5 mins in Portland which isn't much to judge him by. If they aren't going to use him, I'm hopeful they trade him (or at least Frye, who isn't doing that great in Portland either)

Btw, Diogu's "undersizedness" doesn't help because he's not really an option at center for a half-court team like Frye is. Frye's alright when his jumper's falling, but when it's not, he doesn't bring much... he's prone to being a glorified Michael Doleac.

i know you update your player tendencies...how close would you say they are to nogsters? we know that he really scrutinizes player tendencies.

Rashidi, whats the solution for the game freeze when we download your roster updates (i.e. the 3.0 iverson update) each time I try my game freezes up...

i think this is a good update i just have 1 problem.... how did marrese speights go down from a 77 to a 75 when he just started getting playing time and hes scoring and rebounding well off the bench?

I was having the same freezing issue as KDUBB with 3.0 Iverson edition. When I'd go to team select and scroll teams it would freeze.

Any issues with 4.0?

Great work by the way Rashidi. I was bummed out when I thought you weren't going to work on 2K9, but you ended up surpassing all your previous work!

I don't have any internet connection at home. Can you please post the latest roster update Rashidi so that I can download it and upload it to my 360 via USB. Many thanks.
