Great Bleh News

I have no idea how I did this but I somehow saved the default roster over my file. (This is why I write stuff down). Needless to say this will delay the release of my next roster. (Which I suppose will be 4.0 because...) the one positive is I get to use the 2k Sports update which has some players added rather than going with CAPs.

Can't you just download your own roster from 2k Share?

Anyway sorry to hear that.

Eh, I COULD but I don't want to run the risk of glitches. People are already having problems with freezing from 2K Share DLed files, I don't want to find out what happens to files that are DLed from 2k share and reuploaded.

This could actually be a good thing if it gets rid of your glitches. I like your roster the best but 3.0 did not work so I had to use OS Outsiders 3 which had wrong numbers for AI and the trade was messed up.

More stall tactics, typical.

^^^ you need to shut up seriously. Stop complaining and pick a different roster if you want to be an ***

You are an inspiration to me Rashidi. My girlfriend nearly takes my head off when I play 2K9 for more than an hour or two. Your's must be super cool.

This might help rashidi....

1. DL your latest file off of 2k share.

2. Make a few edits to that file and save it. When you save it, make sure you save it as another name.

3. Then try to play a game vs. the computer. It shouldn't freeze as youre selecting teams.

Whenever I DL your file, and start up a game w/out editing or saving it as something different, it always freezes. It doesn't freeze when I make changes, or re-save it. Give it a try, I would hate to see you waste alot of time by starting over.

Sorry to hear this!

At least we'll have a few more official caps. That reminds me of the one thing that bugged me with your rosters- all caps had the default face.

But the real story is how great your rosters are!

Do you think you could post up the changes onto GameFAQs, even though it probably isn't finished yet?

Saving the roster as something else did not work for me just saying

morrow get upped?

What about PS3, any work on that?

THIS IS JUST AN LAME EXCUSE BECAUSE HE CANT COME OUT WITH THE 4.0 UPDATE ANYTIME SOON. NOT SO EASY, IS IT BRUH? JUST TELL THE TRUTH. YOUVE DUG YOURSELF A WHOLE....AND FOR NOW, ALL YOU CAN DO IS GRIPE ABOUT THE INSIDERS RATINGS WHILE YOU AS THE "REAL" INSIDER HAVE NOTHNG!!!

^shut up you spelled hole like whole. Idiots.

If that were the case, I'd just post what I have as 3.1.

I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but it seems like I've turned auto-download off more than once and yet there are times where I turn the game on and the 2K Insider file is downloading - something I think confused me into overwriting my file, because the game downloaded it rather than loading the file I had saved.

I found a solution off a forum. First download 3.0. once downloaded load the 3.0 roster. after save the 3.0 roster over the file named "roster". Then Turn off auto update roster. restart your xbox and it should load the file named "roster" which would be the 3.0 update. in the forum the person said the game has some problem reading the 2k share file thus you saving the 3.0 over the roster file. hopefully that makes sense and helps.

You could just delete you settings file, then when you turn on the game it will ask if you want to have automatic downloads. Choose 'no' then it won't download the roster anymore.

saving the 2k share roster as a different roster does not always work. It does not work for me at all.

While I appreciate the gestures, I do want to go through and see what the Insider has done. He made other subtle (and ridiculous) changes that I've yet to catch. For instance, I found out he gave Kyle Lowry 88 defensive awareness.

This site is slowly going down the drain....The actual Insider is putting in work...

Look, if you have a problem with the way Rashidi is running things, leave. No one's forcing you to use these rosters. I, for one, appreciate that he's putting in all this work. It certainly beats the actual Insider

Who are you? his mascot?
why cant he criticize "The Real 2k Insider" when Rashidi pulls no punches in criticizing the Insider?

I mentioned last month that a change in my employment was going to make it difficult for me to keep the pace I want. Slow and steady is going to win this race anyway.

Right now the 2K Insider is giving weekly updates and pumping up players far beyond what they should be rated. I almost choked when I saw the 43% shooting PF Zach Randolph with 95/81/77 shot ratings.

If that's your cup of tea, great. If not, you've come to the right place.

Because the 2K-employed Insider is actually using that as a selling point for the game. Rashidi isn't trying to sell anything, just provide the best rosters possible
