Real 2K Insider ver 1.1

Version 1.1 of my roster has been uploaded to 2K Share for XBox360! Download away!

FILE NAME: REAL 2K INSIDER ver 1.1
GAMERTAG: REAL 2K INSIDER

Updates are listed below...

TEAM ROSTERS
David Harrison signed a guaranteed contract w/ Minnesota, so he replaced the non-guaranteed Kevin Ollie. Ollie could still make it if the team waives Calvin Booth.
Joel Anthony replaces Alonzo Mourning on roster (Zo is unsigned and out until at least January, though he has committed to returning to Miami if/when that happens)

TEAM ROTATIONS
Brandan Haywood is out at least 4 months with a wrist injury. Etan Thomas takes over as the starting center.
Martell Webster is out for 2 months with a stress fracture in his foot. I have Travis Outlaw tenatively replacing him in the starting lineup however there is a chance it could be Rudy Fernandez with Brandon Roy moving to SF.

CREATED PLAYERS - credit to Steve585 (the real deal at player appearances)
I downloaded Player DNA uploaded by Steve585, made a few rating/tendency tweaks, and fixed the contracts. The players are Demetris Nichols, Marcin Gortat, Randolph Morris, Ryan Bowen, Joel Anthony, and Alexis Ajinca. I also added Hamed Haddadi.

PLAYER ACCESSORIES
Fixed the accessories for the Hawks and Nets, with some assistance from hulyan.

PLAYER CONTRACTS
6 contracts were incorrect and updated. I'm not going to reveal who just yet, as I want to see if the 2K Insider can figure it out. There are surely more out there, so keep your eyes peeled.

RATING/TENDENCY EDITS
A total of 187 players have been edited for 2K9.
Honestly it would take too much time to figure out who I added between 1.0 and 1.1, and I still haven't added every edit I made prior to the game's release (though I have made new ones).

So here's the list. If a player's overall doesn't matchup with what's in the roster, it means I didn't add them to the file yet. Any created players aside from the players I mentioned above have yet to be added but their ratings are all ready.

Thanks a lot my friend, you're doing a way better job than the 2ksports "insider" and you're doing lots of work i would have to do...

I'll get the game tomorrow and i'm gonna download your roster as soon as i've got it.

We'll see if i have some critizism or if i can even provide some help for you ;)

so apparently the dna is working fine for you, i wonder why when i download players they are all default or randomized. this is really aggravating. anyway im working on fixing every players accessories and shoes by searching recent pics for each player, if youre interested i can post what i have done so you can add it to your roster.

I haven't seen Joel Anthony of the Heat after downloading the update. I skipped 2K8, so this is my first year using this 2k upload system. Do I need to find the player DNA first?

The thing I don't like about 2k's ratings is the fact that young guys who are by far the best athletes should have a high dunk, layup, vert, speed and quickness ratings do not.

When I edit my rosters I don't even look at overall. It is pointless IMO.

Hey locke, which players do you think need a boost in the athleticism department?

Rashidi said...

Anthony should be on Miami. Make sure you downloaded version 1.1 and not 1.0.

I reset my roster and Anthony is not on Miami or the FA pool, so I'm fairly certain it doesn't have anything to do with downloading the DNA. The Player DNA isn't an individual file, it's more like you are downloading the player to your roster file, and once you save the roster the player is a permanent addition.

One guy I would definitely say needs his athleticism raised is Carl Landry. They guy is a beast. Strong, fast, can jump, dunks all over the place, and now has been working big time on his mid range jumper and has been hitting shots from all over the court.

portlandblazer don't worry about that, im actually helping rashidi out with that.

Hey Rashidi, I was wondering: Do you plan on making your new edits available via txt/xls file or would it would even be convenient to do so?
