I've been tinkering with the Hawks for the last few hours.
Here's the results of a season I ran (No injuries, progrssive fatigue, or any other association factor).
Hawks 3pt (Real Life 07-08 adjusted per 82 gms in parenthasize)
J. Johnson: 169-434, .389 (169-444, .381)
M. Bibby: 152-376, .404 (171-464, .369)
M. Evans: 94-231, .411 (96-243, .396)
J. Smith: 26-119, .218 (25-99, .253)
F. Murray: 24-90, .266 (39-123, .317)
A. Law: 15-41, .365 (10-49, .206)
M. Williams: 11-31, .354 (1-10, .100) - I boosted his 3pt shooting bc he's worked on it over the summer. He's 4-9 in 4 preseason gms.
Totals 491-1322, .371 (511-1432, .356)
I have it to the point where they actually shot less than real life. The only reason the percentage was higher is Law and Williams overachieved compared to their low ratings (65 and 63 respectively).
I got this with some vigorous player tendency adjusting as well as some slight adjustments to some 3pt ratings. Not sure if the team sliders I adjusted earlier had any impact, I was working on those first to unsatisfactory results before sitting down and meticulously analzying the tendencies of the entire team.
Unfortunately it's so time consuming I probably wouldn't be able to complete every team like that (in addition to having every player edited) for another two months.
Edit:
For comparison's sake, I downloaded the critically acclaimed OS Outsiders 1.0 roster and ran the same sim. Here are the results.

2 months?.... nogster here we come
May have been an exaggeration, may have not. Life gets in the way.
It´s FFAACC:
So it seems that Nogster did a good job ... I knew you from previous 2k´s and that you were good at it ... now we can say that we have 2 gurus ...
How about the rebound stats ? Since Nogster said that it was the only issue that didnt simmed well, it would be nice to know ...
It would be helpfull that you could at least check one more team and compare them, just to see if it keeps close ...
Guru's, aha.
I'm happy to hear Rashidi does other things (i.e. "has a life". :])
We're all human, I don't mind waiting.
nogster edited all the players really fast though how could e have tested them all?
He didn't edit their ratings. PortlandBlazer did.
Two versus one.
I'm also doing things like fixing each player's contract which is a bit more time consuming. And I always jot down the default info, for everything, which is necessary to actually know exactly what the 2k insider changes.
I don't necessarily think he tested them all, he probably used similar tendencies the year before.
I think even more concerning is the scoring in the paint in the actual gameplay. It shouldn't just be me who notices this, but you don't see many misses in the paint at all by the computer especially in higher modes, even All-Star.
Nogster actually edited the ratings, tendencies and coach tendencies. Portlandblazer did the contracts, accessories and added the created players(which I think Vyaras did) AFTER nogster had finished.
Hey rashidi, is there a way for me to get these ratings on PS3, even if I have to manually change them one by one? Thanks in advance.
Rashidi, do you think most of your downloads are from people who mistaken you for the actual 2k Insider and not people who know you for you work?
And I was wondering why did you change your gamertag to the Real 2k Insider? Wouldn't it of been better to keep it Rashidi?
For the most part a lot of people know my work and I do mention in the file description that it's me. A couple ppl here and there text me game related questions which prob means they think I'm 2k employed but I'd say there were only about 5 of those.
I've done a pretty good job promoting my work on various websites I think; basically if you've used the internet in relation to NBA 2k over the last 6 years you've at least heard of me. The only ppl I can see not knowing are those who don't visit any of these communities, spent their whole life playing Live, or whatever.
2k is so reliant on the net as it's promotional venue that it's tough not to visit these communities. It's not like they are promoting things like "The Other Season" or the 2k Insider by any other means.
Also, my GT was never Rashidi. It was taken, as there are ppl in real life with that name.
Also, Rashidi was the primary antagonist of the Ogre Battle series, which is why I chose the name... over 10 years ago.
The last OB game released was in 2001, which was before I had even started playing 2k. I just figured I need a more relevant name, as I'm sure most ppl think that's my real name.
nice work rashidi.
are you going to work on coach profiles when you are done with player edits??
Working on profiles now, they are about half done.
ok why can't i download this. it says that my gamer profile doesn't allow it.
i have a gold membership and i have checked all the setting and there seems to be nothing i can do
Do you have some sort of parental control setting limiting your downloads or something?
where do u download this from
its not under download rosters or sliders is it?
It's under downloaded rosters. Go to "Top downloads" or "Most Downloaded".
i dont mean the rosters i mean the coaching profiles when ur done them
Coaching Profiles are part of the rosters.
oh ok and will they be in your 1.6 rosters update when your done them?
are you doing a slider update sometime soon?
