I'll be posting my 3rd roster update when I get home from work tonight. Lakers, Celtics, Knicks & Blazers updated along with various other players, updated positions/contracts, etc.

your updates have been great! have u noticed that some position changes also changes some of the player's signatures, are you going to be editing these also?

Hey, when you get the chance, think you could update the Raptors?

Also, might want to check out the clutch ratings... They finally give us the ability to change them but then pretty much forget to give any non "top tier" star a rating (and STILL underrated Melo at a 60 despite him being statistically the third best clutch guy in the L.

Thanks man, rosters are great so far. If only you could fix all these f'n glitches...

I didn't notice that Theo, I'll make note of it next time I make a new file (when 2K releases another base file worth using - i.e. one with Beaubois and all the missing players).

Did you guys know Derek Fisher has a 60 clutch rating?

Kobe: 99 clutch offense, 60 clutch defense
Gasol: 60 clutch offense
Artest: 60 clutch defense
Fisher: 60 clutch offense

In other words, the Lakers are incredibly cheap in the 4th quarter.

Yeah, I noticed that too going through them today. Alot of them are completely screwed up. Ray Allen is 99 but Pierce is 60, both on O. Wade still has that 99 defense rating which is nuts.

The Cavs are also terribly cheap with atleast three guys with high offensive ratings (Shaq with 60, LeBron at 99 and I think Williams at 60 also).

2K kept talking about all the work they did with 82games.com but they seemed to forget 82games has a great clutch statistics page.

They also made the clutch factor way too big when playing the computer in the last few minutes. If you're winning you won't hit shit while the opposing squad (atleast with a decent rated clutch player) will drain everything until you eventually lose. Oay.

And when has Artest really proved to be a great clutch offensive player to deserve such a rating? Over someone like Vince Carter who has probably hit enough buzzer beaters to rival Jordan (although in games that meant, much, MUCH less), or even KG, Andre Miller, CB4 or Hedo.

it mostly affects players who were SFs and moved to PFs as primary positions... check out Lamar Odom & Anthony Randolph i know they were SFs but are now PFs after edits... I can't remember if Rashard Lewis is one also... I think 2K put a a restrictions on the signatures by positions hence Josh Smith not being able to be assigned his own Dunk Package as a PF but can be assigned after a position change... but yes it isn't a big deal, we probably gotta wait till the preseason is over till we get a new base file worth editting over, but we'll all be waiting for yours

Artest's clutch rating is of the defensive variety.

Also, as far as I can tell, 2K has done next to nothing with 82games. Unless of course, they're the ones behind Solomon Jones' 75 3pt rating (2K in the past wouldn't have even bothered editing a player of Jones' caliber... hell he probably wouldn't even be in the game despite his 4 years in the league).

I think "Ball Security" rating stems from 82games' handle rating. And maybe they came up with the idea to use pace adjusted stats (rather than per minute), and also not to give star players +10 in ratings just to pad their overall (LeBron/Wade/Roy/etc)
